ROVIK Designs started with a simple idea: streetwear shouldn’t have to be expensive to look good. I’m a teenager who has always liked streetwear, oversized tees, and graphic designs, but I noticed that a lot of the brands I liked were charging prices that many people my age simply couldn’t afford. Spending $60, $80, or even over $100 on one T-shirt isn’t realistic for everyone. I wanted to create something different—a brand where people can get a tee they’re excited to wear without feeling like they have to spend a crazy amount of money.
That’s what my first three ROVIK tees are about. I wanted each shirt to have its own color and personality while still feeling like they belong together. The designs are inspired by the bold, oversized, graffiti-influenced look of modern streetwear. I also wanted the shirts themselves to have the heavier, boxier feel that I personally like instead of feeling like a basic thin T-shirt. My goal is to make pieces that can become part of an everyday outfit—something you can throw on with jeans, cargos, shorts, or sweats and still feel like you put together a good fit.
I’m still young and building ROVIK from the beginning, which is part of what makes this brand important to me. I’m learning everything that goes into creating a clothing brand—from coming up with designs and choosing materials to building the website, packaging orders, marketing the clothes, and getting them into customers’ hands. I know I’m going to learn and improve as the brand grows, but I want to keep the original purpose of ROVIK the same.
My goal is to make cool streetwear more affordable. I don’t think someone should have to have a ton of money just to wear clothes that represent their style. ROVIK is for people who want bold designs, comfortable tees, and a streetwear look at a price that actually makes sense. These first three tees are only the beginning, and I’m excited to keep creating new designs and building ROVIK one drop at a time.
